Goodyear launches new concept tire Copenhagen

Pneu isoprène goodyear
At the UN International summit on climate in Copenhagen, Denmark, the Goodyear brand has exhibited its latest advanced design tire greener: a tire manufactured without isoprene.

This component is used to make synthetic rubber, made from oil derivatives, which are, as everyone knows, highly polluting. Results of research conducted by Goodyear in collaboration with Genencor, the BioIsoprène is presented as an alternative to isoprene.

This advance is not just the domain of tires, but represents a great change for many products used today isoprene (surgical gloves, adhesive tape, etc.).

No communication was aside for the moment from the manufacturer to find out at what price these tires will be sold, nor will they be in France right now.
