Celebration: The stars are mobilizing around Aladji Toure

Through 21 paintings in this exhibition, Patrice Kemplo evokes themes related to history, time and transmission of traditional values.

Thus, Table entitled "Dance initiatory stages a dance. The painting shows three dancers dressed in traditional attire. They wiggle a queen sitting in front, holding a fly swatter. "There is a real problem of transmission of knowledge in Cameroon, yet it is wise to master the rituals of traditional society", said Patrice Kemplo. Through 'Messages country ages, "and he would speak to all ages. His message is transcribed throughout his work. And curious visitors of the exhibition have to decipher the intentions of the artist through the tables "Transmission", "Who around "," Space wanted, "" Spiritual Walk "," Lost City ", among others. In his work, the artist has used materials such as earth, clippings from old newspapers and paper bags for tissues.

At 30, Patrick Kemplo is now in its second major solo exhibition. This comes after "Impressions peasant" in 2008. The artist's works were also presented in favor of several exhibitions. Patrice Kemplo painted as well as the figurative abstraction. He said to draw its inspiration from the basic values of our customs and traditions. Patrice Kemplo reveals that the exhibition "Messages country ages," seen since 08 April, was prepared for eight months.
